  • In 1989, the Mexican government stopped funding its coffee industry, sparking a severe financial crisis for small family farms. In response, the Oaxacan State Coffee Producers Network (CEPCO) was formed to help the thousands of small family farms scattered throughout Oaxaca. Now encompassing 34 community organizations, CEPCO helps small farms bring their quality Fair Trade certified coffees to the international market.
